Shahidul Hoque is the Field Research Manager and in charge of field level research activities of ICDDR,B in Bangladesh. He ensures that the research program is running ahead and focusing to expected outcome. He is managing a multidimensional team of researchers for Health and Demographic Surveillance System (HDSS), universal health coverage and health system research.
Obtained his first degree and MA from Chittagong University, Bangladesh and got Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from BRAC University, Bangladesh.
He has over 18 years of experience in community mobilization, health research and project administrative positions and has specialized in mobilizing and testing community development oriented programmes for the improvement of health of the villagers in rural Bangladesh.
